◆For example: AM-PFC-100060050 represents an iron-based nanocrystalline common mode inductor core with outer diameter OD=100mm, inner diameter ID=60mm, and height H=50mm.

performance characteristics

◆At present, there are two main types of magnetic materials suitable for making PFC inductors: ferrite and amorphous soft materials. Ferrite has been widely used in amorphous materials. With the development of high-power, high-frequency, and low-loss power supplies, it can no longer meet the requirements. Due to the high saturation value (Bs) of amorphous material, which is three times that of ferrite, under the same use conditions, the inductance can reach three times of ferrite, and the volume is only half of ferrite. Amorphous material has a high Curie temperature, and its temperature stability is much better than that of ferrite. It is an ideal material for making PFC inductors.
